DIMENSION 1.1 is an exploration into the space like environment of Earth's deep oceans & coastlines. The designers experiences in the presence of the ocean have heavily inspired each piece of the expanding collecting.

Utilizing characteristic and shape traits that are similar to many creatures in our oceans. The Sea Flower Slides being one example, directly inspired by common sea anemones. The rounded spikes emulating their shocking tendrils.

Many underlying meanings and connotations exist in the designers work, this being no expectation. Each piece often having incorporated functional meaning into the design.

This collection not only functions as art, but each piece has been thoughtfully engineered to be functional.

For the Sea Flower Slides, we have focused on making a comfortable shoe. Utilizing a unique internal parametric geometric structure to create a perfect balance of structure, support, and comfort inside of the shoes themself. The use of this organic-like grid structure created within the shoe allows a perfect balance of spring and cushion in each step by evenly displacing your weight of each foot through the shoe and into the ground.

3D printed using technology that allows for a single piece construction of each individual shoe. This improves the longevity of each shoe by not needing to use any secondary adhesives like typical sneakers.

Each piece of the collection is 3D printed into existence using high volume and capacity 3D printers with an enclosed chamber. This allows us to experiment with the materials we use, opting for the highest quality available synthetic rubber filaments, thermoplastics, elastomers , polymers, nylon, GF, bio-material, and more.
